How many guests can Chez Clément accommodate for a wedding?

The wedding capacity of Chez Clément rests on two ceiling figures. The brasserie offers 230 seated places in normal dining configuration, distributed across the main dining room, the conservatory, the distinct bar and the terrace in season. In standing-cocktail configuration, the venue can host up to 250 guests, a substantial figure for a privately-run brasserie, and a reflection of the property's overall footprint. Between those two ceilings, the brasserie's typical wedding bookings cover the full intermediate range.

For an intimate wedding, the conservatory functions as a dedicated venue for fifteen to fifty guests, depending on the seating layout. This is the space where Marie and Gilles Verleyen, the fifth-generation owners since 2021, were themselves married, a piece of personal history that gives the conservatory a particular weight as an intimate-wedding venue. For a medium-scale wedding (sixty to a hundred and twenty guests), partial privatisation arrangements combine the conservatory and a portion of the main dining room. For a large-scale wedding (a hundred and fifty to two hundred and thirty guests seated, up to two hundred and fifty for the standing party that follows), the brasserie deploys the full venue.

The kitchen capacity, led by chef Vincent Frédéric De Laloy with a brigade of thirty-two in place since 1996, is calibrated to absorb these volumes without compromise on the food itself, the everything-made-in-house philosophy holds even for a two-hundred-guest wedding meal. The wine programme leans on the cellar tradition opened by Marcel and Andrée Clément in 1976, with a Bordeaux-leaning inheritance. The bar (distinct from the dining room, open continuously from noon until 1 a.m.) carries the late phase of the evening once the meal has cleared.

Logistics on the day match the scale. The gigantic free car park directly opposite the brasserie, ten metres from the entrance, handles the parking of an entire wedding party without overflow. Accessibility is workable, with adapted toilets, for any guest with reduced mobility. Genval railway station (SNCB line 161 Brussels-Namur) is a ten-to-fifteen-minute walk from the door for guests coming by train. The conservatory can host up to 150 seated guests; the walking-dinner format is not offered in that space, which is conceived for seated meals.
